Betpin licence: what the register says, not the certificate
Three documents name a licence for Betpin, and they do not agree. This page lays them side by side, names the source of each, and starts with the fact that changes how the rest should be read: as of 26 September 2026 the operator’s own site no longer answers.
The operator’s site is not responding
Every path on betpin.com returns HTTP 404 with an empty body — the front page, the language folders, the sitemap, the favicon. The only file still served is a default robots.txt generated by the content delivery network, which is what a hostname looks like when there is no server behind it. The domain itself is alive and paid up to 2030, and DNS still resolves; what is missing is the casino.
This matters for everything below. In August 2026 the site was readable, and the figures published on our bonus page — the lira deposit minimums, the 61-level VIP ladder, the §6 payout ceiling — were taken from it then. They are kept here with that date attached, because a reader should know when a number was true rather than assume it still is. Nothing on this page should be read as a recommendation to deposit at a site that does not load.

The register is the one that counts, because it is the regulator’s own publication rather than a document hosted by the licensee. On that reading the licence expired on 24 December 2025 and has been in assessment since — nine months as of this writing. «Assessment in progress» is not a refusal and it is not a suspension; it means the file is open and the term on it has run out.
Our own page said «Active» until today, because that is what the certificate said when it was read in August. That was a mistake of method: a certificate published by the company it describes is weaker evidence than a register published by the body that issues it, and where the two differ the register wins.
Why a Curaçao licence changed shape
Until 2024 Curaçao ran a master-licence system: four master licence holders issued sublicences, and the number in a casino footer usually belonged to a sublicence rather than to the operator. Under the reform that became the National Ordinance on Games of Chance the system was replaced with direct licensing by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, and the old sublicences were wound down. That is why the footer here carries a GLH- number from the previous era beside an OGL- number from the current one: one of them describes a framework that no longer exists.
How to check a Curaçao licence yourself
It takes about two minutes and does not require trusting any review site, including this one. Open the regulator’s published licence register — a PDF issued periodically, with the date in the file name — and search it for the licence number exactly as printed in the footer. Then read three fields: the licence holder, the term, and the status. If the number is not in the register, or the term has passed, that is your answer regardless of what a certificate or a badge says.
Two traps are worth knowing. Footers misprint numbers — a lowercase L where an uppercase i belongs — and a literal search then returns nothing, which looks like an unlicensed operator but is a typo. And a licence lists the domains it covers: a number that checks out but does not name the site you are on is not that site’s licence.
What a licence does and does not give a player
A valid licence means the operator has passed the regulator’s compliance process and can be complained to. It does not guarantee a payout, it does not set the RTP of the games, and it does not cap the house edge. What it does provide is a place to send a complaint that is not the operator’s own support desk — and that is exactly what an expired licence in assessment puts in question.
For a player the practical order is simple. Check that the site loads at all. Check the licence number in the register, not on a badge. Read the withdrawal limits and the bonus rules before depositing. And keep in mind the general arithmetic, which no licence changes: expected loss = stake × rounds × house edge.
Responsible gambling
Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders and self-exclusion are the tools that work, and they work best set before a session rather than during a bad one.
